DETROIT (AP) — Hyundai is recalling greater than 226,000 SUVs and small automobiles within the U.S. as a result of the rearview digital camera picture could not present up on the screens.
The recall covers sure Santa Fe and Elantra automobiles from the 2021 and 2022 mannequin years.
Hyundai says in paperwork posted Wednesday by U.S. security regulators that solder joints on a printed circuit board can develop cracks that may worsen over time and trigger the cameras to fail. That may cut back visibility and enhance the chance of harm to pedestrians.
