Ariana Grande on getting unique Glinda wand

Ariana Grande couldn’t maintain again the tears.

The songstress, who stars as Glinda within the upcoming Depraved film adaptation, had an emotional second throughout her look on The Drew Barrymore Present set to air on Thursday, Dec. 5.

The speak present host shocked Grande with the unique wand utilized by Billie Burke as Glinda the Good Witch within the 1939 basic The Wizard of Oz.

“I have something that’s extremely exciting and special,” Drew Barrymore introduced in a preview clip of the interview.

“It was owned by the Smithsonian and now it’s owned in private hands. But for the purposes of our sit down, they loaned it to us. Bring out the original Glinda wand, please!”

The sight of the enduring, star-topped wand introduced Grande to tears.

“Thank you so much,” the 31-year-old singer and actress stated, visibly moved. “Are you serious right now?” In a lighthearted second, she joked, “Thank you, guys, it’s been fun. Bye!” as she pretended to depart with the prop.

Barrymore, 49, responded warmly, “You look so perfect with it.”

Grande, who performs the bubbly Galinda Upland (the longer term Glinda the Good Witch) within the Jon M. Chu-directed adaptation of the Broadway hit Depraved, was overcome with emotion. Burke, who originated the position of Glinda in The Wizard of Oz, is remembered for her unforgettable portrayal of the character within the Judy Garland-led movie.

“How did you pull this off?” Grande requested Barrymore by tears. “Oh, my God, did you break in?”

Barrymore defined the trouble that went into securing the cherished vintage.

“I have to give credit to everyone on the show because literally we were so excited about you coming here,” she stated. “That is the original wand from *The Wizard of Oz*. So there you go.”
