DENVER — Dozens of youngsters cheered on a festively decked-out airplane in Denver on Saturday when the pilot introduced their vacation spot for the day: the North Pole.

For greater than 30 years, United has staged its annual “fantasy flights” to fictional North Poles at airports all over the world to carry vacation cheer to youngsters and their households.

Jonna McGrath, United’s vice chairman for operations at its Denver hub, has participated in 29 flights and mentioned it’s certainly one of her favourite days of the 12 months.
