Austin Butler remembers his late mother on her birthday: Picture
Austin Butler has lately remembered his late mom on her birthday.
On Could 5, the Elvis star took to Instagram and posted a candy throwback picture from his childhood and wished his mom Lori joyful birthday.
Within the image, a younger, blonde-haired Austin may very well be seen wrapping his arms round his mother’s neck as she smiled on the digicam. She died of most cancers in 2014.
“Happy birthday mama… I miss you every day,” wrote the 33-year-old within the caption.
Earlier in January 2023, Austin defined how he handled grief after his mom’s demise.
“After my mom passed away, I’d never experienced pain like that before, and I started to question,” stated the Dune actor throughout The Hollywood Reporter’s Actor Roundtable.
Austin talked about, “Suddenly I was around doctors and people that were hurting a lot in hospitals, and I thought, ‘Is acting a noble profession? Should I be doing this or should I give myself in some way that can help people who are dealing with cancer or something like that?’”
“I went straight to New Zealand to start shooting a young-adult TV show,” continued the actor whereas giving reference of Shannara Chronicles.
Austin recalled, “A lot of people enjoyed the show, and I had fun doing horseback riding and that sort of thing, but I’d go home and cry every night.”
Throughout the dialogue, The Bikeriders actor opened up in regards to the sacrifices his mom for his performing profession.
“I owe her for everything because she quit her job and drove me to auditions and took me to acting classes,” he added.
