Clark Mantilla’s Impressive Work
Clark has been part of many important projects with an extensive background that goes back to his training and experience in theater. It also involves bringing some of his own techniques and methods to the stage, injecting a bit of himself into every role and every play. He has had so many cool roles that he looks back to and thinks of the great experience. One of his most recent roles has been in the play Into the Woods at the New York Film Academy, where he starred as the “The Baker”. It was a very great experience for him to work with a crew in a different set compared to other plays. He found the experience very interesting because of the set and the lighting, and how that affected the whole play. One of his great abilities as an actor and artist are working across different characters, be it a play, short film, a concert, or specific workshops.
He has also been working on a workshop called Stealing Mona Lisa with Theater555 as the role of a Prosecutor. Clark finds this experience very crucial to every actor’s work as he sees workshops as a way to find their personal range and the depths of that range in an emotional spectrum. He believes it is important for every actor to be in a workshop and to bend the personal perception of who they are as actors and performers. This also prepares actors and performers for other roles in their field.
Clark has also been present in the short film world and worked on three short films with the same studio. He performed the feature role in a short film called Unspoken Rules: “I Love You, Ma.” Prior to that, he completed two supporting roles in short films called Bakit Ka Nag-Stay? – “Laging Nandiyan” and “The Love Theory.” These films were produced by Adober Studios on YouTube. Clark’s work is ever-expanding, and his skill is being watched by many amazing artists, directors, and audiences that connect him to further opportunities. He is currently working on new performances in concert and cabaret settings. He has two upcoming shows that are equally mesmerizing. He will be starring as Lou in Holy Rollers: A Musical Comedy Concert which performed at The Green Room 42. He is immensely excited for the world to see this concert and feel the energy that is brought by the whole cast and crew. It is one of the projects that he knows will stay with him for a long time after he’s been on stage. He also performed the role of a soloist in 54 Below Sings Starkid at 54 Below. This is one of the greatest spots to catch the newest, most energetic shows and this time Clark was a star of the show.

He has two YouTube channels where he sings along to musicals, melodies, modern songs, and songs from movies or series. His YouTube channels are called Clark on Stage and Clark in Studio. He divides the musicals and theatrical songs into the On-Stage channel and the more modern songs on the channel “In Studio.” He has millions of views in every video and has an engaging audience.
