Bowen Yang says ‘SNL’ castmates obtained emotional after watching ‘Wicked’

Bowen Yang revealed that he initially did not need to watch ‘Depraved’ together with his TV colleagues. 

Bowen Yang and his SNL castmates watched the musical collectively, leaving them in tears as their feelings ran excessive.

The 34-year-old actor and comic, who performs Pfanee within the musical, disclosed that he noticed the ultimate reduce in a personal screening together with his SNL crew whereas Ariana Grande hosted the present in October. 

In dialog with Individuals, Bowen revealed, “All of us were in shambles by the end.”

“Sarah Sherman was sobbing, and she was like, ‘I didn’t expect to love it this much,'” he added. 

The actor went on to clarify that it’s the kind of film that appeals to each demographic and would resonate with everybody, leaving them deeply moved after watching it.

Though the comic described his time filming as particular, he confessed that he was initially reluctant to attend the screening together with his TV colleagues.

“I was so adamant about not going to the screening, because I thought I needed to see this for the first time with other friends that aren’t professionally involved, and I just need to have a pure experience,” he defined.

Nonetheless, Bowen is glad he reconsidered his resolution, as he had a beautiful time with them.
