King’s Approach Christian boys basketball turned again a gritty Kalama staff 61-58 on Wednesday to earn a key win within the race for the Class 1A Trico League’s 4 district playoff berths.

The Knights (12-5, 5-5) are alone in fourth place with 4 video games to play.

Kalama (8-9, 4-7) is amongst three groups tied for fifth with three video games to play.

Kalama’s Abel Koski led all scorers with 23 factors regardless of taking part in with a damaged pinkie finger. He helped the Chinooks rally from 14 factors down late within the third quarter to tie the sport within the ultimate minute.

Tyler Tran added 15 factors, making 5 of Seton’s 15 3-pointers. Rico George added 14 factors.

Seton Catholic his 5 3-pointers within the first quarter to dash to a 22-9 lead.

Mason Hamilton scored 35 factors to steer the Bruins (8-7, 4-7).

2A Larger St. Helens League

RIDGEFIELD 84, HOCKINSON 52 — Jamison McCann scored 31 factors and the host Spudders pulled away for a 2A GSHL win.

McCann scored 11 factors within the third quarter, when Ridgefield outscored Hockinson 24-9 to take a 72-42 lead.

Malik Underwood added 14 factors for Ridgefield (11-6, 7-4).

Oliver Garner scored 24 factors, together with 5 3-pointers, for Hockinson (6-10, 4-7).

WASHOUGAL 46, WOODLAND 44 — Coleman Multanen scored 15 of his 17 factors within the first half earlier than the Panthers protection got here up clutch in a 2A GSHL residence win.
