Clark County sheriff’s detectives served search warrants Tuesday in reference to the slaying of a 78-year-old girl who was discovered useless final month in her west Hazel Dell house.
Investigators had not made any arrests as of Tuesday afternoon within the Oct. 8 murder of Patricia Jimerfield, the sheriff’s workplace stated.
The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Workplace stated Jimerfield was strangled with a ligature.
Movies submitted to The Columbian confirmed police exercise Tuesday morning at Jimerfield’s home, on the nook of Northwest twenty sixth Avenue and 99th Road.
The sheriff’s workplace stated final month that Jimerfield had been notified by her financial institution the morning of her demise that there have been pending fraudulent costs on her account. Jimerfield found her pockets was lacking and filed a fraud report with the sheriff’s workplace. Investigators are trying into the fraudulent costs.
The sheriff’s workplace’s Main Crime Unit is continuous to research.
