Police in South Korea have arrested a 60-year-old fugitive behind a $13 million crypto rip-off after he was stopped for tossing a cigarette butt and tried to bribe his means out of additional questioning.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Company introduced immediately that, on Wednesday, authorities stopped a person in Seoul’s Gwanak District after he tried to run away from a cigarette he’d simply discarded.
Native retailers report that the person, recognized solely by his surname “A,” pleaded with police to “let me go just this once” whereas attempting to hail a taxi.
The person refused to surrender his ID and advised the officers, “I will give you money.”
