Earlier within the season, the Carolina Panthers and head coach Dave Canales made a head-scratching transfer to bench former No. 1 general choose Bryce Younger in favor of veteran quarterback Andy Dalton.
Though Dalton had some success because the starter, the transfer appeared like it will be expensive to the younger quarterback’s improvement and in the end might end in him asking to be traded.
Thankfully for Younger, issues have modified in Carolina with Canales making him the starter, and he’s sticking by the choice, despite the fact that the remainder of the season is kind of a misplaced trigger at this level.
On Wednesday, Canales talked about what he’s seen from Younger and appeared to be proud of the outcomes as of late.
“There’s a weekly growth that’s happening,” Canales stated. “Again, we’re just taking it a week at a time. I know that’s been my language, but he’s really taken the responsibility of it and pushing us that way. The bottom line is he’s giving us a chance to win.”
