A brand new ballot finds Democrats are deeply pessimistic about the way forward for their occasion

NEW YORK (AP) — Six months after Donald Trump’s presidential victory, Democrats stay deeply pessimistic about the way forward for their occasion, though neither the Democratic Social gathering nor the Republican Social gathering is seen favorably by a majority of U.S. adults.
A brand new ballot carried out earlier this month by The Related Press-NORC Heart for Public Affairs Analysis discovered that solely about one-third of Democrats are “very optimistic” and even “somewhat optimistic” about their occasion’s future.
