Luke thinks of the proper present for Lorelai for the vacation season within the new clip
Espresso, snow, and a random Kirk — the proper components for a Gilmore Women reunion, this time that includes Luke and Lorelai.
Teaming up for a festive new Walmart advert launched December 3, Lauren Graham and Scott Patterson returned to Stars Hole to deliver their characters Lorelai Gilmore and Luke Danes to life once more.
The advert, which celebrates the season of giving, options Kirk delivering a Walmart package deal to Luke, who presents Lorelai a Keurig to maintain up along with her insatiable espresso cravings, joking that she’s “drinking him out of business.” And naturally, the spot wouldn’t be full with out Lorelai marveling on the snow: “I smell snow!”
When requested about their characters’ lives post-Gilmore Women: A 12 months within the Life, Graham, 57, advised Folks journal she imagines issues haven’t modified a lot. “I don’t think Lorelai left the country to find herself or anything,” she joked. “She’s probably running an inn — or maybe a second inn — and hitting Luke’s up every day for her coffee unless she’s using that thoughtful Keurig.”
She added, “That’s what I would want from where they are today is pretty much in the same place.”
Patterson, 66, agreed, including that the duo’s appeal lies of their consistency. “They’ll get older, but we can rely on them not to change.”
