Robin Williams’ one recommendation stays with Glenn Shut
Glenn Shut went to Robin Williams on the time of want and he didn’t disappoint.

“I said, ‘Do you have any advice about Saturday Night Live? And he said, ‘Just don’t do anything you don’t think is funny, because you get all these different fabulous ideas,’ ” recalled.
“I found that helpful,” added Shut of Williams, who died by suicide on the age of 62 in August 2014.
The Deadly Attraction actress hosted her first SNL present in February 1989, by which The Gipsy Kings carried out because the musical visitor. She later returned to the present in December 1992 to host SNL’s Christmas particular, which included The Black Crowes as musical visitor.
Remembering her first time on the weekend present, Shut informed the outlet, “Oh, it was great fun.”
