Jason Ng (Times Realty) Discusses Starting Your Real Estate Career

BusinessJason Ng (Times Realty) Discusses Starting Your Real Estate Career

Jason Ng is the owner of Times Realty and was fortunate enough to have an early start in the Vancouver Real Estate industry because of his parents, who moved to Canada from Hong Kong in the late 1980s to build a life and a better future for their family.

Jason Ng today is a successful realtor and has taken Times Realty to new heights, closing dozens of deals a year and keeping a loyal and satisfied customer base.

Low home supplies in Metro Vancouver have been pushing home prices up at the start of 2022, as they have across Canada. That is why, according to Jason Ng, it’s important as ever to help guide clients through the decision-making process when it comes to buying or selling a home.

Stats indicate the number of home sales has fallen in Vancouver at the start of 2022, but this was largely due to the limited available supply.

Jason Ng at Times Realty is ready to guide clients through the ever changing real estate market in Vancouver so that they can make informed decisions that benefit them, their goals and their families.

According to Ng, his passion for real estate came from watching his parents, who enjoyed their career and reaped satisfaction from helping clients from all walks of life.

“Helping clients choose their home is important and I love it because it’s one of the most important decisions of people’s lives,” says Ng.

Jason Ng goes on to say that he treats buying and selling homes for his clients as if he were going to do it himself. He says it’s one of the factors that helped him excel in real estate and gain trust from his clients.

Another factor that has contributed to his success as a realtor is his father’s ability to read the pulse of the real estate market in Vancouver since the early 90s. Jason Ng watched his father make decisions when it came to buying and selling homes, and in doing so, he also learned how to time the market and operate in Vancouver as a realtor.

“I remember going on business trips with my parents and sister where we would inspect properties that we were buying and selling for clients. I learned a lot on those trips, and I enjoyed them too,” says Ng.

“My early initiation into the real estate market gave me unique insights on the trade and helped me learn about how to best serve our clients at Times Realty,” says Ng.

Jason Ng has been featured in several digital news platforms online for his tips and tricks for emerging realtors in Vancouver. We asked him to distill his advice into a few critical points, and he mentioned this: “The client should have complete faith in not only your capabilities but your sincerity and honesty. It is for this reason I prefer referrals – they evoke faith and trust in the client through the example of a previously satisfied customer,” Jason Ng says.

Obtaining trust is sometimes easier said than done, and that’s why Jason Ng is continuing to share tips on his personal website.
