Justin Baldoni’s staff hits again at Blake Vigorous’s new authorized transfer
The authorized battle between It Ends with Us co-stars Justin Baldoni and Blake Vigorous appears to be heating up every day.
Baldoni’s authorized staff has strongly criticised what they name an “abhorrent” transfer by Vigorous to close down the defamation lawsuit towards her.
On March 20, the actress’ authorized staff filed a movement to dismiss, arguing that her co-star’s $400 million defamation lawsuit is “vengeful and rambling.”
Nonetheless, they claimed Baldoni is misusing the authorized system to punish Vigorous for talking out about office retaliation and sexual harassment.
The actor’s lawyer, Brian Freedman, fired again on the One other Easy Favor star, accusing her staff of twisting the legislation to dodge duty.
He shared with PEOPLE: “Ms. Lively’s recent motion to dismiss herself from the self-concocted disaster she initiated is one of the most abhorrent examples of abusing our legal system.”
“Stringent guidelines are put into place to guard the harmless and permit people to rightfully defend themselves. Legal guidelines will not be meant to be twisted and curated by privileged elites to suit their very own private agenda,” he added.
Brian dismissed Vigorous’s lawsuit, calling her claims of harassment and a smear marketing campaign pure fabricated.
Pointing to Ryan Reynolds’ personal try to get Baldoni’s defamation declare thrown out, the lawyer added: “As we said yesterday in response to Mr. Reynolds’ same cowardly measures, we will continue to hold Ms. Lively accountable for her actions of pure malice which include falsely accusing my clients of harassment and retaliation.”
