King Charles welcomed a particular visitor at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday, as he continues to seems unfazed by latest controversy.

The Workplace of the monarch launched pictures from the assembly alongside a message as esteemed royal members held an viewers with the King.

Wearing a pinstriped navy-blue swimsuit, Charles greeted the Sultan of Brunei, Darussalam Hassanal Bolkiah, who’s the world’s longest-reigning monarch, alongside his son, Prince Mateen.

“Today, The King had a visit from The Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, accompanied by Prince Mateen of Brunei Darussalam,” the caption learn alongside the carousel put up.

Sultan of Brunei, who took the throne after his father’s abdication, has reigned since 1967 and have become Prime Minister of the nation following its independence from the UK in 1984, is known to be visiting first time since Charles turned king, marking a big assembly.

The assembly comes after the royal household was hit with yet one more controversy courtesy of Prince Andrew.

The disgraced Duke of York has been embroiled within the ‘spy scandal’ wherein he was found to have ties with an alleged Chinese language spy for years.

The investigation for the case continues to be ongoing, in the meantime, Prince Andrew has opted out of upcoming royal occasions together with the pre-Christmas lunch on Thursday and annual festivities at Sandringham.
