Freakier Friday is bringing again everybody’s favorite storage band — Pink Slip.
Lindsay Lohan revealed on this week’s episode of The Tonight Present Starring Jimmy Fallon that her character Anna Coleman’s beloved band is formally reuniting in Disney’s upcoming Freaky Friday sequel.
“Pink Slip is back together, the band! Yes!” Lohan, 38, exclaimed. She confirmed that bandmates Maddie (Christina Vidal) and Peg (Haley Hudson) are additionally returning.
Reflecting on manufacturing, Lohan known as it a “labour of love,” sharing that she and co-star Jamie Lee Curtis have been grinning ear to ear on the desk learn.
Curtis beforehand teased an emotional new music from Lohan, dubbing it a possible “monster hit.” Talking at Disney’s D23 conference in August, Curtis revealed, “I’m telling you, it’s going to be a smash. There are also some old favourites played in this movie.”
Within the sequel, Anna has grown up and is now a mom navigating her relationship with a teenage daughter, which Lohan guarantees provides a recent dynamic. “Anna has calmed down a bit since she was a teenager,” she shared, hinting the film is “freakier and funnier” than the unique.
Directed by Nisha Ganatra, the extremely anticipated follow-up to the 2003 traditional wrapped filming and manufacturing this August.
