Marvel cancels launch of Neil Gaiman’s Miracleman: The Darkish Age
Marvel has made it clear that they don’t have any plans to publish Neil Gaiman’s Miracleman: The Darkish Age, leaving followers of the legendary author’s work upset.
The much-anticipated collection, which was set to proceed Gaiman’s earlier work on Miracleman, will not be hitting cabinets anytime quickly after his current controversy.
This marks a brand new chapter after years of tangled authorized battles that saved their Miracleman saga on the shelf.
Neil Gaiman, well-known for his Marvel work on Eternals and 1602, initially wrote Miracleman for Eclipse Comics again within the ‘90s.
Marvel picked up where he left off, publishing The Golden Age and later The Silver Age, which was delayed after artist Mark Buckingham chose to redraw the whole thing.
However, fans have been waiting for The Dark Age to complete the trilogy, but it looks like that won’t occur—Marvel has no plans to launch it.
