His content revolves around simple acts of compassion, and he tries to defy the perception of Muslims as violent individuals.
He kept making videos about positivity and love like “Giving the Homeless a Makeover for Eid” and “Giving Out Food During Ramadan in NYC,” recording the genuine reactions of people that inspired his viewers, generating thousands of views.
Brand Collaborations for a Cause
His inspirational videos have attracted the attention of many brands and resulted in collaborations and sponsorships.
One of his first videos to go viral was called “Making Strangers Smile”, where he received over 10 million across various platforms.
The video itself has 9 million hits on YouTube and more than 20 million viewers on multiple websites that reshared the video on Facebook. The video has over 12.5 million viewers on the page Unilad. The video was also on the top of Reddit, 9gag, Imgur, and other websites broadcast on various television stations worldwide.
Hershey discovered that the video was posted on YouTube and commented on the video. They immediately got in touch with Mustafa and his closest friend to arrange interviews, sponsorships and to drive an advertisement for their social media channels and TV commercials.
