NFT Project takes it too far – Man creates petition to ban NFTs!

TechNFT Project takes it too far – Man creates petition to ban NFTs!

NFT stands for “non-fungible token.” This means they are uniquely one-of-a-kind art images on the blockchain. While there are already enough problems that come with NFTs, this NFT collection is the reason they should all be banned.

Some of the normal issues with NFTs are the volatility and lack of data to support any value. There are tremendous negative long-term effects on the environment with NFTs. There is also a lot of fraud and scammers within the space and there is no regulation behind any of it.

Even with these cons, NFTs are still tolerated for many. However, this one NFT collection has taken it too far. The Holy Ones (website: https://theholyones.io) which claims the NFT to be the revolution of crypto wagering games has pushed the limits to far by having Jesus with a burning cross or bible or even a huge pink dildo with a pride flag. This has caused outrage for an Indiana man named Peter Wetzel who made a change.org petition to request his Congressman Jim Baird to put an end to this NFT project. You can find the link to the change.org petition here: https://www.change.org/p/ban-anti-christian-nft-group.

Mixing Jesus with gambling, pride flags, dildos, burning bibles, etc. is completely outrageous. Peter Wetzel has called the Holy Ones a “disgrace to our lord and savior.” Will the dice roll in Peter Wetzel’s favor? Or will Congressman Jim Baird ignore his request to ban anti-Christian NFTs? Only time will tell.
