Nick Jonas displays on getting again in theatre for ‘The Last Five Years’
Nick Jonas made a comeback to theatre after a number of years with The Final 5 Years, and he revealed that it felt intimidating to get again on stage.
The 32-year-old actor and singer loved a profitable opening night time for his new musical on Sunday, April sixth, together with his household and theatregoers each becoming a member of in.
Forward of the present, the Camp Rock alum advised Individuals Journal, “The factor for me is there are lots of people who love this present, who’ve performed these roles in several productions, their highschool or faculty or no matter. And it is these people who’ve completed it that I really feel most intimidated to do it for.”
Nick continued, “But I think that’s the beauty of storytelling and being an artist and an actor, is that you get to take big risks and put yourself out there. And I love it. As intimidating as it might feel sometimes, I think it’s a really gratifying experience to get out and really put yourself out there and take big swings and see what happens.”
The Jonas Brothers member stars alongside Adrienne Warren within the musical, which explores the views of aspiring novelist Jamie Wellerstein and struggling actress Cathy Hiatt, from completely different timelines.
The Love Once more actor shared with the outlet that he has been strolling to theatre on a regular basis for work and it’s been good interacting with followers who method him “all the time” throughout his commute.
“It’s a really good confidence boost before you go and do a show. It’s nice to meet people on the street. Most people are kind,” he mentioned.
