SEATTLE (AP) — A Japan Airways airplane that was taxiing on the tarmac of Seattle-Tacoma Worldwide Airport apparently struck the tail of a parked Delta plane on Wednesday morning, airport authorities stated.
Authorities responded to the incident round 10:17 a.m., the airport stated on X. There have been no accidents, and airport authorities had been working to get the passengers off the airplane and produce them again to the terminal.
There have been 142 passengers onboard Delta flight 1921 to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and so they had been being transferred to a brand new plane, she stated. There have been no reviews of accidents for crew or passengers.
Airport operations had been minimally impacted because the incident occurred on a taxi lane, authorities stated.
