Carson Morningstar scored 30 factors as Prairie boys basketball held off Evergreen 67-65 on Wednesday.

Greenwald had 11 of his team-high in factors within the second half, together with eight of Heritage’s 18 third-quarter factors. 

Triton Hagdahl-Daniel led Kelso with 9 factors.

KING’S WAY CHRISTIAN 61, CASTLE ROCK 31 — The Knights erupted for twenty-four second-quarter factors on their method to a 1A Trico League street win. 

King’s Means outscored Citadel Rock 24-2 within the second quarter on their method to a 38-10 halftime lead. 

Patrick Carney led the Knights with a team-best 16 factors, together with 12 through the Knights’ second-quarter run. Radley Matson-Blighton added 15 and Jackson Lovato chipped in 10.

MARK MORRIS 55, WOODLAND 24 — Dalton Stevens’ game-high 20 factors paced the Monarchs, who received their third straight to maintain tempo in a decent 2A GSHL league-title chase. 

Mark Morris (7-2) received for the eighth time in 9 video games and stays one recreation again of R.A. Lengthy and Columbia River, co-leaders of the 2A GSHL at 8-1 in league. 

Drew Ibarreta added 11 for the Monarchs. 

Jackson Gabbard led Woodland with seven factors. 

FORT VANCOUVER 84, STEVENSON 47 — A 23-point first quarter set the tone for the Trappers of their 1A Trico League dwelling win.

Isaiah Barajas led Fort with a game-high 16 factors, together with 4 3-pointers. As a group, the Trappers hit 15 3s. 

Josiah Jointer added 14 for Fort.

HUDSON’S BAY 65, HOCKINSON 60 — The Eagles scored a season excessive in factors to earn their first win of the season.

Women basketball

KELSO 57, HERITAGE 31 — Peyton Champagne poured in a game-high 21 factors and Bregan Ruhland added 15 within the Hilanders’ 3A GSHL street win to enhance to 2-2 in league play. 

Champagne had 4 of Kelso’s 5 3-pointers. She and Ruhland mixed for 14 of the group’s 21 fourth-quarter factors. 

Jaila Ellis had 19 to steer Heritage, together with all 14 of the group’s third-quarter factors. Caylin Iven added 11. 

Stars of the day

Aeryn Noble, Evergreen women bowling, rolled 188-191 for the best rating in a 1746-1457 win over Prairie.

Brooklyn Burnett, Columbia River women bowling, rolled 189-159 for the best rating in a 1806-1753 win over Ridgefield.

Cole Milkowski, Skyview boys swimming, received the 200 IM, the 100 Free and was on the profitable 200 Free and 400 Free relay groups because the Storm received a meet with Mark Morris and R.A. Lengthy.
