WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — They appear, transfer and even odor just like the sort of furry Everglades marsh rabbit a Burmese python would like to eat. However these bunnies are robots meant to lure the large invasive snakes out of their hiding spots.

It’s the newest effort by the South Florida Water Administration District to get rid of as many pythons as attainable from the Everglades, the place they’re decimating native species with their voracious appetites.
