On the occasion of World Earth Day, Save Earth Mission (SEM) launched what is now being called the world’s largest and most inclusive plantation drive, initiating a green revolution that started from India and resonated globally.
Spearheaded by renowned environmentalist & Save Earth Mission’s President of India Chapter, Mr. Sandeep Choudhry, the drive saw millions of trees planted across every Indian state and major city, with unprecedented participation from citizens of all backgrounds — from celebrities and politicians to bureaucrats, teachers, and students.
With the rallying slogan “Saansain ho rhi hain kam, Aao Ped Lagain hum” the campaign echoed the urgent call to action against climate change and deforestation. The message — “Our breath is fading, let’s plant together” — stirred hearts and united voices from the grassroots to government halls.
“This isn’t just a plantation drive,” Mr. Choudhry stated. “It’s a movement to restore Earth’s lungs. And it begins with each one of us.”
Backed by Save Earth Mission’s cutting-edge geotagging and real-time monitoring technology, each tree is tracked, ensuring accountability, transparency, and measurable climate impact. The drive aligns with SEM’s larger vision: 30 billion trees by 2040, with global collaborations already underway.
This Earth Day, India didn’t just plant trees. It planted hope.
