Scarlett Johansson reveals way forward for her ‘Black Widow’ function
Scarlett Johansson, recognized for portraying Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, revealed what the longer term holds for her character.
Johansson’s character dies a hero saving the universe again in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. Chatting with InStyle journal, the actress confirmed she is not going to be return to the function.
“Natasha is dead,” the Lucy actress stated, regardless of main a prequel, 2021’s Black Widow. “She is dead. She’s dead. Okay?”
Nonetheless, she stated that devoted followers of Marvel “just don’t believe it.”
“They’re like, ‘But she could come back!’ Look, I think the balance of the entire universe is held in her hand. We’re going to have to let it go. She saved the world. Let her have her hero moment,” the Oscar nominated actress defined.
In the meantime, MCU dropped Anthony Mackie’s Captain America: Courageous New World in February. The studio is now gearing up for Thunderbolts* (in theatres Might 2), The Improbable 4: First Steps (in theatres July 25).
Johansson shall be seen in The Phoenician Scheme slated for launch on June 6 and Jurassic World: Rebirth slated for launch on July 2.
