NEW YORK (AP) — Members of a Senate committee grilled Labor Secretary-designate Lori Chavez-DeRemer on Wednesday about her previous help of pro-union laws, her place on elevating the federal minimal wage and her willingness to disagree with President Donald Trump.
Democrats sought assurances through the nominee’s affirmation listening to that Chavez-DeRemer would shield personal information held by the Division of Labor.
