It was a tough begin for the Portland Winterhawks as they gave up the primary purpose in 34 seconds and plenty of extra adopted because the Spokane Chiefs pulled away for a 10-4 win in Sport 1 of the Western Hockey League Western Convention finals on Friday at Spokane Enviornment.
Spokane outshot Portland 20-9 within the first interval and led 5-3 after the primary 20 minutes. The Chiefs would go on to outshoot Portland 40-29 within the sport.
Winterhawks goalie Ondrej Štěbeták was lifted for backup Marek Schlenker not fairly midway via the primary interval after permitting three targets on seven photographs.
