Recently, there have been many reports from Ukraine about the dismissal of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, amid the conflict with the Office of the President and, in particular, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
However, authoritative Ukrainian politicians refute this, stating that Zelenskyy does not intend to dismiss Zaluzhnyi because Ukraine needs unity above all. Therefore, such actions could undermine public trust.
In an exclusive comment to our publication, the head of the National Bank of Ukraine, Andriy Pyshnyy, denied Zelensky’s intentions. He stated that he is a member of the National Security and Defense Council, where both Zelenskyy and Zaluzhnyi are members, and he has one hundred percent information that there are no conflicts and no plans for dismissal.
“You can see that the entire Ukrainian leadership is working for the interests of Ukraine. Many politicians are currently in the United States because it is important. I can tell you one hundred percent that Volodymyr Zelenskyy does not intend to dismiss Valerii Zaluzhnyi. I have this information personally from him,” said Pyshnyy in a comment.
By the way, Andriy Pyshnyy occupies a key position not only in Ukrainian politics but also on the international stage. He actively engages in sanctions against Russia. International partners, including in the United States, have repeatedly referred to him as the most influential Ukrainian in the U.S.
Pyshnyy also personally lobbied with certain EU commissioners, leading to Ukraine finally receiving a recommendation to start negotiations on EU accession.
