Zoe Saldaña has not too long ago slammed awarding our bodies for overlooking actors’ performances in CGI motion pictures.

In a brand new interview with Unbiased, Zoe, who labored in sci-fi motion pictures through the years, mirrored on the problems actors face once they used CGI results within the awards season.

“Old habits die hard, and when you have old establishments, it’s really hard to bring forward change,” stated the 46-year-old.

The Guardians of the Galaxy actress continued, “And I understand that, so I’m not bitter about it, but it is quite deflating when you give 120 percent of yourself into something.”

“I mean, not winning is OK, not being nominated is OK, but when you’re overlooked and then minimised and completely disregarded,” added Zoe.

Elsewhere within the interview, Zoe recalled folks arguing that her efficiency in Avatar was due to technicians alone.

“I know the difference between that and what we did,” she remarked.

The Amsterdam actress talked about that she did perceive the resistance.

Nonetheless, Zoe identified, “At some point you have to ask yourself: why is it that I do what I do? Is it so others can give me approval? Or is it because I don’t want to do anything else?”
